30-May-2003 - DP8051XP - Pipelined High Performance Configurable Microcontroller IP Core has been released.

DP8051 was released 2 years ago. Since that time, thanks to great popularity and high notes given by DP8051's users, it has been included to Core wizard. It allows configure the microcontroller according to individual user's needs. Configured IP Core can be evaluated at software and hardware level. It can be used in FPGA/ASIC application after successful evaluation.

It is a first product on IP Market combines high application execution speed (10 times faster architecture & 11 times faster applications execution - check application notes) and Real-time on-chip debug capability. Debug capability is provided by DCD on Chip Debug system - so called DoCD ^TM.

DP8051XP is fully binary compatible to 80C51 microcontroller. Thanks to this there are a lot of standard C/ASM software tools which can be directly used with DP8051XP without need to learn new software tools.
